These days, green is not just the colour of money!
In the spirit of finding a new home for just about everything, including our precious pets, the
Saint John Animal Rescue League and its partners in the "ART FOR PAWS" on-line auction are using recycled materials for the packing and shipping of the artwork to its new home. Several Saint John companies have agreed to save, store and donate good recycled packing material, thereby saving the ARL several hundred fundraising dollars! And, a dedicated volunteer is creating and maintaining the website for the donated art. The Animal Rescue League in Saint John, New Brunswick marshals its precious funds as carefully as possible and is very active in getting the most out of its resources whenever and however the opportunities present themselves. The ARL recognizes that time is money and we appreciate the extra man-hours, which our partners are spending in gathering and storing these materials until we need them; they see that we all need to nurture our resources ... one step at a time!
